Uganda Senior Football National Team (The Uganda Cranes) has dropped in the latest monthly rankings released by World Football governing body, FIFA.
The rankings for the month of March released on Wednesday show that Uganda has fallen by one slot to 84th.
Uganda played two games last month, drawing goalless against Burkina Faso and lost 1-0 to Malawi. In Africa, Uganda ranks 16th.
Uganda’s opponents in the forthcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Mali occupy 57th position while Kenya and Rwanda are 102nd and 129th respectively.
The top five nations in Africa are Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria and Morocco in that order.
The global rankings remain unmoved at the summit with Belgium, France, Brazil, England, Portugal and Spain filling the first six slots.
