KCCA Coach Morley Byekwaso is wary of the threat posed by Mbarara City who they visit on Wednesday at Kakyeeka.

The Kasasiro lost their last visit to the Ankole Lions 2-1 courtesy of Ibrahim Oriti and Swaliki Ssegujja strikes and are in confident mood after losing none of their games since the season restarted (second round).

“We face a very good side in Mbarara City. They have a very good home record against us. We have not beaten them at Kakyeeka in three games we have played here,” said Byekwaso.

“We want to break the jinx and pick three points here. The players have to be very ready for the challenge that lies ahead and come to the party.

“This game is the first of our two back to back away games and we want it to give us the rhythm ahead of our next encounter.”

The Kasasiro will look to young forwards Sadat Anaku and Charles Lwanga to put the ball their ball behind the Mbarara City net where they have only scored once in three previous visits.

KCCA are 5th on the table with 33 points and could trim Vipers lead at the table to just seven points with maximum points while Mbarara City could go ninth with maximum points off the Kasasiro.
