  • Onduparaka 0-1 KCCA

Sadat Anaku scored the only goal of the game as KCCA beat Onduparaka 1-0 at the Green Light stadium, Arua on Sunday.

The centre forward struck beautifully from inside the area to beat goalkeeper Michael Kagiri in the 78th minute and break the hosts’ resilience.

The two sides created a few chances in the game but KCCA forced more saves from Kagiri who had a good game stopping Charles Lwanga and Anaku from extending the Kasasiro’s lead.

The win means KCCA have now beaten Onduparaka seven times in nine league meetings and have won all the previous four meetings scoring 16 goals and conceding none.

Defeat is Onduparaka’s fourth in five games and third in a row since they appointed Joseph Mutyaba as coach.

KCCA replace Police in 4th place with both on 37 points but with a superior goal difference while Onduparaka are 11th with 34 points.

Up next for Morley Byekwaso’s side is a home game against Soltilo Bright Stars on Thursday while Onduparaka visit Express FC on Wednesday next week.
