CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup:
- Group A: Uganda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
- Group B: Ethiopia, Burundi, Eritrea
- Group C: Djibouti, South Sudan, Kenya
Kenya coach Stanley Okumbi named the 23 man squad that will represent the country at the upcoming CECAFA U-23 Challenge cup.
The team has two goalkeepers; Caleb Omondi (Gor Mahia) and Brian Bwire (Kariobangi Sharks).
There are seven defenders, eleven midfielders and three forwards.
The three senior players (above 23 years) included on the list are; Boniface Muchiri, Bernard Ochieng and Daniel Okoth.
Kenya in group C alongside Djibouti and South Sudan. Group A has Uganda, Tanzania and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) whilst group B has Ethiopia, Burundi and Eritrea.
The upcoming CECAFA U23 Challenge will be held in Ethiopian City of Bahir Dar.
