Uganda’s Table Tennis male top player Moses Mpabwa Kamoga will for the rest of his life juggle the indoor sport with evangelism.
Mpabwa is a member of Eden Miracle Church (located at Bolevadi building along Kampala road) which is pastored by Joseph Ssekisaka.
He officially announced the calling to serve the Lord on 1st July 2021 and has since been ministering the good news online via his official instagram, whats app and facebook platforms.
“I dedicate my salvation story to my mother (Joyce Namiiro) who raised me ever since my father passed on in 1994” Mpabwa attests.
The Table Tennis star was raised by a single mother, Joyce Namiiro after the untimely death of his father, Hassan Kamoga of Rakai district in Kikuma Ddungu.
The mother, according to the son has worked tooth and nail to nurture him into a responsible person and as well contributed to the development of the Table Tennis sport, starting at Kitante Primary School where she works as a teacher.
Mpabwa salutes Table Tennis legend Mary Musoke for her contribution to the game growth having represented Uganda ably at the All African Games and Olympic Games.
In fact, Musoke facilitated Mpabwa’s first two trips out of Uganda to engage in international tournaments held in Naivasha (Kenya) and Kigali (Rwanda).
Mpabwa was born in a staunch muslim family with his two elder brothers Bashir Kamoga and Ibrahim Kamoga also having played a great role in his life.
He has a wife and one child, Ryan Mpabwa Junior with whom they stay together as he coaches Table Tennis to earn a living as he preaches the Gospel.
