The 2020 Tokyo Olympics officially got underway on Friday, July 23 with the opening ceremony held at the Olympic Stadium.
Uganda’s contingent at the games marched into the stadium at Number 23 during the Parade of Nations because the countries were organized according to Gojūon order of the Japanese writing system.
