Ronald Otti celebrates after scoring a goal at Mbarara City

Rock-solid defender Ronald Otti has extended his stay at Uganda Premier League outfit Mbarara City Football Club.

Otti,a central defender extended his employment contract until the end of the current 2021-2022 season.

This followed the expiry of his old contract at the Ankole Lions in January 2022.

Otti had spent three seasons at Mbarara City since his transfer from the lower division ranks.

With the departure of long serving captain Hilary Mukundane to Vipers, Otti will remain a mainstream figure in the heart of the Ankole Lions backline.

Ivorian international Souleymane Bamba is the other central defender available for head coach Sadick Sempigi.

Meanwhile, Mbarara City also confirmed the mutual contract termination for forward Raymond Derrick Onyai who has since returned to his parents club, Kataka in Mbale.
