West Nile stationed Uganda Premier League entity Arua Hill Sports Club has signed experienced left back Farouk Musisi.

The 26 year-old left footed player penned a two-year employment contract with the Arua city based club on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

He transfers from third tier outfit Kajjansi United after a string of great performances where he scored three goals in 8 games thus far both in the Buganda region league and the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Musisi has been a target for head coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi who once worked with him at Lweza.

Therefore, the two parties reunite with a mission to help stabilize Arua Hill in their debut season of the top flight football.

He was involved in Arua Hill’s trial match on Saturday, largely impressing before he penned the contract.

Musisi’s experience oozes to the brim having featured for a number of clubs ranging from Bazoopa, Artland Katale (now Wakiso Giants), Lweza, Sports Club Villa, Proline, Konkola Blades (Zambia), Vipers and lately Buganda Regional League outfit Kajjansi United.

Besides playing at left back, Musisi is also comfortable as a wing attacker on either flanks.

This is envisaged as a blessing to the technical team with the varying options at play.

He thus becomes the second recruit for the Leopards in the January secondary transfer window after Ibrahim Tembo.

Arua Hill will play-host to Police at the Barifa stadium in their 16th game of the league campaign as the second round of the 2021-2022 Uganda Premier League gets underway on Saturday, 5th February 2022.

The league debutants have fetched 25 points from 15 matches as they are 5th on the 16 team log.

Their Stanbic Uganda Cup road came to an end when they lost 6-5 in post-match penalties to little known Tipsha, a third division club based in Moyo.
