Forward Marvin Oshaba left Tooro United for Police Football Club.
By the time he departed for greener pastures, Oshaba was Tooro United’s top scorer with 4 goals in the Uganda Premier League.
He joined Police as a free agent during the mid-season transfer window.
Oshaba beefs up the attack force of the 2005 Uganda Premier League champions at a time they lost another forward Brian Muluuli Mayanja to Tanzanian side Kagera Sugar.
Police head coach Abdallah Mubiru believes Oshaba will give the technical department options.
“Oshaba is a good addition for us and comes at a crucial time. I am pleased that we have been able to bring him here. He adds another attacking source for us and has a character that I really like. He will be a great fit for us,” Mubiru spoke of the forward who is known for his penalty antics.

The Makerere University student (Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) was part of the Tooro United team right from the second division where his 8 goals guided the club to the Uganda Premier League.
In the 2020-2021 FUFA Big League season, he was the most valuable player.
He has previously played at Ibanda Municipal Council.
Police Football Club has recruited veteran forward Frank “Machette” Kalanda.
The two new players Oshaba and Kalanda reinforce the other forward as Emmanuel Mugume and Juma Balinya.
Police is currently 10th on the 16 team log with 4 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses as they have 16 points off 15 matches.
