Match Day 16: Saturday, 5th February 2022:

  • Wakiso Giants Vs Gaddafi – Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakiso (2 PM)
  • Arua Hill Vs Police – Barifa Stadium, Arua (4 PM)

The second round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2021-2022 will have the different clubs present strong cases for varying missions to achieve the respective targets at hand.

The top cream-de-la-cream is eyeing the league title, with the usual mid-table clubs aiming to improve their positions from the past seasons and the bottom cluster fighting relegation tooth and nail.

Round two officially kicks off on Saturday, 5th February 2022 with two matches.

Alex Gitta’s coached Wakiso Giants take on Peter Onen’s Gaddafi at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakiso in the first of the early kick off matches planned effective the second round.

The other contest on the same day will witness Arua Hill entertain Police at Barifa Stadium in Arua city.

Both clubs are handled by former Uganda Cranes players and coaches; Charles Livingstone Mbabazi at Arua Hill and Abdallah Mubiru at Police.

Police, just like Arua Hill has recruited massively ahead of the second round. Therefore, we could see players making their debuts for the each of these clubs in the box.

Sunday’s only game has the army side UPDF against Sports Club Villa at the Army Military Stadium, Bombo.

Other matches:

On Monday, 7th February, all roads will lead to Kavumba Recreational Stadium as Soltilo Bright Stars host Express.

There will be two matches on Tuesday, 8th February 2022. Relegation threatened Tooro United host Onduparaka at Buhinga Stadium, Fort Portal.

Busoga United takes on Mbarara City in Sadiq Sempigi’s first game in charge for the Ankole Lions at the Kakindu Stadium, Jinja city.

Match day 16 will climax on Wednesday, 9th February 2022 when BUL hosts the table leaders Vipers at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe – Jinja City.

Tuesday, 8th February 2022:

  • Tooro United Vs Onduparaka – Buhinga Stadium, Fort Portal (4 PM)
  • Busoga United Vs Mbarara City – Kakindu Stadium (4 PM)

Wednesday, 9th February 2022:

  • BUL Vs Vipers – Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe – Jinja City (2 PM)
