Paint gurus Kansai Plascon has officially announced a three-year sponsorship package for Uganda Premier League entity Arua Hill Sports Club.
The Shs 500,000,000 per year sponsorship was revealed during a press briefing at L’ Hotel Confidential in Arua City on Saturday, 5th February 2022.
Santosh Gumte, the Managing Director for Kansai Plascon, flanked by the Sales manager Moses Kato graced the official unveiling of this partnership, joined by Joel Jaffar Aita (President of Arua Hill) and the club Chief Executive Officer, Tonny Afeti.
“Kansai Plascon is excited to partner with Arua Hill Sports Club. Sport is a unifying factor that brings people together. Kansai Plascon as a product is super delighted to be associated with sports development. The West Nile region has been very supportive in using Kansai Plascon and this is payback time,” Santosh remarked.
Sales manager Kato acknowledged that the decision for Kansai Plascon to partner with Arua Hill was very simple and easy to make given the good corporate governance exhibited by the club and achievements in a very short time.
“Kansai Plascon is delighted to be Arua Hill’s partner. The decision to work together was very easy. The club has got the attention of everyone in a short time across the country. They have the same DNA like us. We are happy to be here,” Kato remarked.
Arua Hill Sports Club president Joel Jaffar Aita openly expressed his excitement for this partnership that will supplement the club’s budget.
“Arua Hill Sports Club is humbled to have such an international partner in Kansai Plascon. The partnership will supplement and support the club budget,” Aita stated.
The paints manufacturer joins Development Infrastructure (D.I) as the other partner for the Kongolos (Leopards).
Kansai Plascon is also a partner for Vipers Sports Club as well as FUFA for the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Kansai Plascon is also the official sponsor of Entebbe Mongers Rugby Football Club.
Meanwhile, Arua Hill also launched the Kongolo fans’ card as well as the Arua city project.
The Kongolo fan cards will be catergorized as gold, silver and bronze.
Arua Hill takes on Police during matchday 16 at the Barifa Stadium on Saturday.
