Proline Football Club edged visiting Nyamityobora 1-0 during the FUFA Big League duel played at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in Kampala on Thursday, February 10, 2022.
Joshua Musoke netted the all-important goal in the second half of the early kick-off that started by 2 PM.
Musoke’s deflected shot flipped over goalkeeper Michael Lutaaya, a debutant on the evening for the Abanyankare.

Earlier, Proline had missed glaring scoring opportunities through veteran forward Brian Umony who shot on the lower bottom post and had a header missing the target by inches.
Nyamityobora’s captain Meddie Matovu and Ronald Kikonyogo had half-chances not converted.
The fourth victory for Proline took them to 13 points, out of the relegation docket as they climbed to 8th on the 11 team log.

Consequently, Nyamityobora suffered their 6th loss of the season in 11 matches, remaining bottom with 7 points collected, same as MYDA who earned a point on the road at Ndejje University.

Elsewhere, Blacks Power overcame visiting Kitara 2-1 at the AkiiBua Memorial Stadium in Lira as they now have 21 points and are top of the pack.
Maroons defeated Calvary 2-1 at the AbaBet Greenlight Stadium in Arua.
Luweero United and Kyetume settled for a non-scoring stalemate at the Kosovo playground in Luweero.
