Stephen Kiprotich will be the main pace setter at the 2022 MUBS Alumni Run

The fourth edition of the Annual Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Alumni run is back after absence in 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

This annual run (5 KM and 10 KM) will be held on Sunday, 20th March 2022.

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon. Anita Annet Among will be the chief runner.

For starters, Hon. Among is a former lecturer at this Business oriented institution and will join other famous alumni as Dorcas Inzikuru in this run.

Legendary long distance runner Stephen Kiprotich (2012 Olympics Marathon gold medalist) has been confirmed as the main pace setter.

Like over the years, the main theme of this run is; “to enable Women with disability get university education” as all collections from this run will be geared towards this noble cause.

Tickets cost Shs. 20,000/= (each) and can be accessed at the MUBS Main campus in Nakawa as well as the auxiliary campuses in Jinja, Arua and Mbale cities.

Professor Juma Waswa Balunywa, the Principal of MUBS has urged the Alumni and friends of this institution to turn up positively for the run.
