For years, Heathens Rugby Club has conspicuously been without a brand identity, many a time resonating with the sponsor’s colours for the period of the sponsorship.

This year, however, the historic record-winning rugby club has turned things around at Kyadondo. A new logo was unveiled at the start of the 2022 season and a brand new redesigned kit was said to be on its way.

After nearly a month of waiting, the new kit has finally arrived and will be worn by the team during matchday eight’s encounter against Black Pirates on Saturday afternoon.

The tops are in a sharp yellow colour with sprays of deep blue matching the shorts while the socks are a plain yellow colour.

The new kit, designed and manufactured by Mafro Sports, has been inspired by the club’s history and has features that are a symbol of its pillars and identity. Yellow and blue are the colours that featured on Heathens’ first playing kit in the late 20th century.
