FT: Impis 09-22 Plascon Mongers
Plascon Mongers were on the right side of every big momentum shift as Andrew Olweny’s fine show helped them to a 09-22 win over Impis at Makerere Rugby Grounds on Saturday.
Olweny scored three tries, Abba Patrick notching the other as the Entebbe-based side compounded the home side to more premiership misery.

Impis are yet to win this season and despite the strong support from the fans, it was another day of trials and tribulations.
Mongers’ strength in scrummage continued to check Impis’ backline with Olweny and Abba both muscling their ways past the whitewash.

Even though Henry Nsekuye continued to impress off the tee for Impis again, with an early drop goal and two penalties in the second half, his efforts alone were just not enough for the arrogance.

Mongers’ area to address was kicking through the uprights, as Olweny’s try in the 67th minute was the only one converted, by Edgar Kairu.
Impis should be more desperate for a win in their next outing after falling to the bottom of the log, one point behind Warriors. Mongers are fourth with 23 points from 8 games.
