Young school going golfers being trained by AFRIYEA Golf Academy

There is no better option of tapping talent than at the grassroots stage.

Identifying, gradual development and nurturing of raw talent is a worthy program from the infantry stage.

It is upon this rich background that the AFRIYEA Golf Academy has initiated the Golf in Schools program.

Isaiah Mwesige, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at AFRIYEA Golf Academy reveals that such a program will encourage many pupils to take on the game at a very young age.

AFRIYEA Golf Academy started the Golf in Schools program to encourage more young kids take on the game. Previously, the leaders would play golf from the golf clubs but since the schools reopened the learners will play from their schools. We shall provide playing materials to the learners and help them within their schools. We have already made arrangements with school head teachers and games masters. The schools should embrace the opportunity provided to them by AFRIYEA and other stakeholders. Soon, we shall organize the inter-school golf competitions this year.
