The second round of the 2022 national rally championship heads to a fresh venue in Eastern Uganda this weekend.
The two days Kaliro Sugar EMC rally will introduce new stages to the championship in the district of Iganga and Kaliro.
Rally fans will be treated to a double super special stage and seven more stages totaling to competitive distance of 124.33 kilometers.
“Everything is so far set and only waiting on the crews and fans to enjoy what is likely to be the most competitive and exciting event.
“The roads are a bit smooth hence calling for some fast speeds. The crew with the best strategy will triumph,” says Eastern motor club President Kees Kagolo.

However, Kagolo passes a word of caution to all the rally fans that will make it to the East.

“A massive mobilisation and awareness has been done and still going on in areas where the stages are going pass. We should all remember that safety first,” he asserted.
