The Round of 16 stage for the 48th edition in the Uganda Cup will witness a couple of mouthwatering clashes.

In some of the eagerly awaited games, Wakiso Giants will take UPDF at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.

Reigning champions Vipers will entertain Kataka at the St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

Soltilo Bright Stars, tormentors of KCCA at the Round of 32, host BUL at Kavumba Recreational Stadium.

Mbarara City takes on Eastern Regional League side Iganga United at Kakyeka stadium.

Kitara Regional League side Booma takes on the all conquering TIPSA at the Masindi Municipal Stadium.

TIPSA eliminated top-flight side Arua Hill at the Round of 64 and ejected another Kitara entity Kitara FC during the stage of 32.

The all FUFA Big League duel between Maroons and Ndejje University will be played at the lake side Prisons Stadium in Luzira.

Officials who graced the round of 16 draws in 48 Stanbic Uganda Cup

The draw were held at FUFA House on Wednesday, 9th March 2022 conducted by FUFA Executive committee member Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, FUFA competitions director Aisha Nalule and former Uganda Cranes winger Ibrahim Buwembo.

The Round of 16 matches will be played between 20th-24th March 2022.

Meanwhile, replica trophies will be given to each Uganda Cup winner effective the 2018-2019 champion, Proline.
