- Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso 4pm
Wakiso Giants coach Alex Gitta wants his lads to put the recent poor result behind them when they host Mbarara City at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium on Wednesday.
The Purple Sharks have lost three games on the bounce including a 5-0 home defeat to URA and will be keen to put an end to that.
Mbarara City are in worse situation though as they sit in relegation zone and have gone nine straight games without winning any.
“We face a side that is equally desperate points but we have the same hunger after a blip in the last couple of weeks,” Gitta told the club media.
“In the last few days, we have tried to find the problems and managed to address them as coaches and hopefully, we shall see a different performance.
“For now, the attitude and focus is proper and we are in a good shape to fight for all three points.”
The hosts will hope forwards Moses Aliro, Ivan Bogere and Sam Ssenyonjo don goal scoring boots while the visitors will rely on Henry Kitegenyi and Jude Semugabi for inspiration.
