Resurgent Busoga United lock horns with Police at Kakindu hoping to continue with their revival mission.

The hosts have enjoyed a good run in recent weeks winning three of the last five games and have improved from being in the relegation zone to 11th on the log.

Their 20 points at this stage of the season keeps them just a point and spot adrift of their day’s opponents who have also equally improved as the season wanes following a disastrous start to the campaign.

Busoga United Captain Anthony Mayanja says confidence is high in their camp especially after wins over ‘big boys’ SC Villa and Express.

“For now, it doesn’t matter who will play but the target is pick all points,” he stated adding.

“We are currently very confident and the past result gives us belief.”

His Police counterpart Tonny Mawejje whose side is not safe so far says all the focus and energy is towards winning as many points as possible.

“We are set and ready to go fight for a good result,” said Mawejje.
