Overview:
The 2022 Nakawa-Inter Parish boxing and kickboxing championship was exclusively organized by the Chocho Sports Foundation run by Nakawa Division LC V Councilor Hon. Immaculate "Chocho" Nalwadda in conjunction with the Global Sports Mentoring program and SMB Foundation of professional boxer Shadir Musa Bwogi.

Overall Winners: Nakawa Parish
2nd: Naguru Parish
For the second year running, the 2022 Chocho Sports Foundation organized a tranquil Nakawa Inter-Parish Boxing and Kick-Boxing Championship.
The second edition was hosted by Bukoto II Parish at the Butuukirwa playground along the theme “To lift all Ghetto Talents within Nakawa Division”.
Nakawa Parish emerged as the best of the eight parishes in contention in the Boxing and Kickboxing events.
Naguru Parish, winners in 2021 came second overall. The other six parishes were Bukoto 1, Bukoto II, Banda, Mutungo, Kiwatule and Kyanja.
The long-awaited blind fight between Ramathan Bashir, a blind boxer and Commonwealth Bronze medalist Juma Miiro (also blind-folded) was well cheered.
Miiro was blind-folded as he managed to raid several punches towards Bashir, one of which landed the latter onto the canvas.
The Blind boxer Bashir staged a gallant fight back and lost the bout on split decision 2-1.
Also, there exciting bouts (both boxing and kickboxing) for the children in the Mosquito weight category.
Professional boxer Shadir Musa Bwogi was engaged in an exhibition fight meant to encourage more youth take on boxing as a serious professional sport.
Hard Body Kickboxing club was outstanding in the kickboxing competition.
Habibu Mambo, the chairperson of the Choco Sports Foundation was humbled for the financial resources provided by the main funder, Immaculate “Chocho” Nalwadda.
Mambo was full of praise for the organizing members on the ground, the team managers of the respective parishes, players, security agencies, media and the local community within Nakawa Division for the collective effort.

The exceling teams and persons were rewarded with trophies, medals, gloves and other goodies.

For starters, Naguru won the inaugural edition hosted by Mulimira in Bukoto 1 zone played in 2021.
