Black Pirates got off to a winning start in the 2023 Nile Special Rugby Premier League beating Heathens 24-18 at King’s Park in Bweyogerere.
Joshua Engwau, Timothy Kisiga, Alex Aturinda, and Alex Olweny scored Pirates’ tries two of which were converted by William Nkore and Ivan Magomu.
Heathens scored through Michael Wokorach and Norbert Okeny, Chris Lubanga converted two penalties, and Joseph Oyet converted one of the tries.
