The 2023 MX season will get off the gates with a series of races this Sunday at the Victoria Race Track, Garuga.

The championship starts with all riders in one block after three years of disunity.

Over sixty riders are expected to turn up for the races as they set firm their title ambitions for the season in the respective classes.

“We are doing final preparations on the track ahead of the big race. All riders are expected to show up this Sunday, and many were seen earlier training for Sunday’s race.

“Fans should expect a full day of action starting from 8am-6pm. We shall also have guest riders from Kenya who will spicy up the action,” said Omar Mayanja, the Event manager during the event launch at Garuga.

Among the riders expected include Kylan Wekesa, Gift Sebuguzi, Katende brothers, and the Blick and Obote family that dominated much of last season.

The fans will further be treated to a motor rally sprint with drivers battling it out on a double circuit in preparation for the rally season opener next month.
