The boxing fraternity in Uganda and the Eastern Africa eagerly looks forward an African Boxing Union Elimination contest between Uganda’s Ratib Muwonge and Tanzanian Ally Mbukwa.
This duel will be in the super light-weight category on Friday, 3rd February 2023 at the New Obligato Hotel along Bombo road in Kampala city.
Muwonge has vowed to attack the hard punching Tanzanian from start till he surrenders or falls to the canvas.
“I want to teach Mbukwa (Ally) my native language of Luganda the hard way. This will be by raiding punches unto him non-stop” Muwonge noted.

“For the past weeks, I upped my training and I am fully fit. I am only waiting for the day of action. Fans should turn up I big numbers as I deliver the best show” Muwonge, contesting in his 7th professional bout adds.
For starters, Muwonge was triumphant in the immediate past bout against a Tanzanian opponent Ally Hamisi.
Mbukwa was fought seven times, won a promising five and lost twice.
Robert Wasswa, the official mouth piece for the fight promoters Big Strikers International adds his voice to Muwonge’s call for as many fans to fill up Obligato.
He vowed to stage a brilliant event with the best ambiance, setting and top notch security.

Saddam Sserwadda will lockhorns against Derrick Mwirugazu (super lightweight) and Fahad Mayombo takes on Franco Makoba in super welter weight.
