Stephen Sunday is a seasoned professional fitness trainer who has worked with several successful footballers in the country as Uganda Cranes’ captain Emmanuel Arnold Okwi, Mustapha Kizza, Steven Mukwala, Garvin Kizito and others. He has also handled the national teams, clubs as Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), among others.
Famed fitness guru Stephen Sunday has urged sports personalities more so footballers to consider physical fitness as a key ingredient in their daily menu.
The seasoned professional fitness trainer has worked with several successful footballers in the country as Uganda Cranes’ captain Emmanuel Arnold Okwi, Mustapha Kizza, Steven Mukwala, Garvin Kizito and others.
He has also handled the national teams, clubs as Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), among others.

Sunday emphasizes the need for the sports personalities to have trainers who will guide, motivate, push and become stronger as well as reduce risks of injuries and fatigue.
He urges the sportsmen to traverse an extra mile through work-outs to achieve the best results, going forward.
If you are willing to put your sport career to the next level, you need to put in that extra work, you need to do those personal sessions. If you are a competitive athlete, you need a fitness coach that will help you to develop physic referred as strength and conditioning, you need fitness coach that will plan or design for you the systematic development of progressive cycles or blocks of training that aim to elicit peak performance at specific time for example during sport competitions.

He boldly cites that many talented footballers in Uganda have given up on their big dreams because they are not willing to do the extra work needed.
“Many footballers, are not ready to go that extra mile that may lead them to their desired dream” he cautions.
Gym membership:
Sunday encourages the athletes to seek memberships in Gymnasiums or trained fitness trainers for the necessary guidance.
Uganda athletes should pay their membership to gyms or fitness trainers to put in that extra work like many currently playing outside the country on professional stints in big clubs. Those athletes putting in that work, going to the gym, paying fitness trainers to push them understand the importance of great fitness in football, always remember that; With lower body fat and greater muscle mass, you will be stronger and faster on the football field.

In the football sport, a strong lower body is good for shooting, jumping and turning.
The upper body strength is necessary for shielding the ball, avoiding being shoulder barged off the ball and also contributes to your overall strength and energy.

Sunday has trained many footballers in Uganda from national team and 80% of them are on professional stints in the diaspora.
Non athletes are also helped to remain the desired body shape.
