Second placed BUL start life minus arguably their most important for the last one and half season in Karim Ndugwa when they host Blacks Power at Njeru.

The big centre forward joined champions Vipers but the Jinja based side signed a replacement in Samuel Kayongo who they hope to emulate Ndugwa’s performances.

BUL won the reverse fixture 5-0 in Lira but Alex Isabirye expects no easy ride as the club has improved since hiring Hussein Mbalangu and moved out of the relegation zone already.

“Despite beating them 5-0 in our first meeting in October, this time we are playing against a team that has a new coach and many new players, therefore, the game will not be the same,” said Isabirye.

“But we are at home and we need to get those three points.”

The two sides have met three times in all competitions with BUL winning all of them.

A win for BUL will keep them just two points adrift of leaders KCCA who controversially beat Wakiso Giants on Friday.
