Plascon Uganda has unveiled a sponsorship package for Buddu ahead of next month’s Masaza Cup Final.

At a press briefing held at their offices in Industrial Area on Tuesday, Plascon unveiled a one-year renewable sponsorship worth $20,000 (approximately Ugx. 73 million).

With $10000 coming as cash, it is a timely intervention for the three-time Masaza Cup winners and defending champions who are gearing up for the 2022 edition final against Busiro that will be played on 4th March 2023 at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

“We have a purpose to enhance and add colour to our customers’ passion moments. We have identified sports as a platform that guarantees such unique opportunities.

“This is the foundation upon which all our various sports partnerships are premised,” said Moses Kato, the National Sales Manager of Plascon Uganda.

“With the Masaza Cup final around the corner, we hope this partnership will add extra motivation to the players and also aid in the Club’s preparations ahead of the final. We hope Buddu FC will be able to retain the title,” Kato added.

Buddu’s Brand and Marketing Manager Steven Zziwa commended Plascon a timely offer, adding that it’s also a huge booster ahead of their final.

This is Plascon’s fourth partnership in football. They sponsor Uganda Premier League clubs Arua Hill and Vipers Sports Club and they are also Uganda Cup partners.

The partnership continues to widen Plascon’s wings in the country’s sports industry as they are also in Cricket (Cricket Cranes), Netball (She Cranes), and Rugby (Plascon Mongers).
