Amus College School players celebrate a goal in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania

Semi-finals (Sunday, February 19, 2023):

Girls:

  • Awaro S.S (Ethiopia) Vs Amus College School Bukedea (Uganda) – 10 AM
  • Kiramuzi MS (Rwanda) Vs Front Gate (Tanzania) – 10 AM

Boys:

  • Royal Giants (Uganda) Vs Libya One (South Sudan) – 10 AM
  • Geda Royal S.S (Ethiopia) Vs Ecofo Gasanda (Burundi) – 10 AM

At Azam Sports Complex – Chamaz, Dar es-salaam

Uganda’s representatives in the CAF Pan Africa Schools football championship (girls) Amus College School, Bukedea face off with Ethiopia’s Awaro S.S in the one of the two semi-finals on Sunday, February 19, 2023.

This followed the completion of the group stage matches on Saturday, February 18.

Amus College School Bukedea won all their three matches in the group stages to amass the maximum nine points.

They registered a comprehensive 3-0 win over Sudan’s El Hila Al Jadida in the opener.

Asia Kakai, Sharom Nabunya and Joan Namungo were on target for the Ugandan ambassadors.

In the second game, Amus College School overcame Djibouti’s CEM Baulous 1-0 courtesy of a penalty by Priscilla Fauchan.

For the third match, Amus College School needed a spirited 1-0 performance over Rwanda’s Kiramuzi MS.

Shakira Logose scored against Kiramuzi MS.

The other girls’ semi-final match will see Kiramuzi MS against Front Gate from Tanzania.

Boys:

In the boy’s category, Uganda’s other team Royal Giants faces off against South Sudan’s Libya One in one semi-final.

The other semi-final will see Ethiopian giants Geda Royal S.S against Ecofo Gasanda (Burundi).
