After guiding Vipers to the quarter finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup, Alex Isabirye now faces Raja Casablanca test in the Caf Champions League.

The two sides are playing mainly pride with the visitors already through to the next round while the hosts have no chance regardless of the outcome.

The Venoms are yet to win in the group stages and have picked just one point in four games contrary to four wins in as many outings for the Moroccan giants.

They provided the first real test for the Ugandan side in the reverse fixture winning 5-0 but Siraje Ssentamu believes they learnt their lesson.

“In the first game, we didn’t know about them but we now have a clue,” Ssentamu told the media.

“We are out of the competition but we target decent results in our remaining games and I am positive we shall do well.”

Raja Club are not taking the game lightly and the coach Munther Al-Kabir says they want to keep the momentum.

Murushid Jjuuko, Milton Karisa and Marvin Youngman remain side-lined.

Meanwhile, in the same group C, the main is now between second placed Simba SC and third placed Horoya who are fighting for second spot.

Simba are on six points, two ahead of third placed Horoya and are hosting the Guinean side in Dar es Salaam in a tough duel.

Simba will confirm their spot in the last eight if they beat Horoya in Dar es Salaam as they will move to nine points, five ahead of the Guineans to whom they lost the first leg 1-0 in Conakry.

Simba come into the game on the back of wins against bottom side Vipers SC while Horoya have lost back to back matches against Raja.
