Onduparaka sits bottom on the 15 team log with just 10 points off 17 matches. At the end of the season, two clubs will be relegated to the FUFA Big League pool.

It is 11:15 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 inside Nairobi Hall at the lavish Skyz Hotel (Marriott) on Naguru Hill, Kampala.

At the material time, West Nile based Onduparaka Football Club is unveiling a new kit for the time lag 2023-2024 as well as renewing the marriage vows with betting firm Ababet Uganda.

Muscled model George Gumisiriza and light skinned Maulicia  Irankunda gracefully catwalk on the stage to show case the new green shirt, white shorts and green sockings designed kit.

Moments later, they are followed by Pascal Babu and Lyndah Atwongyeire who model the white shirt, black shorts and white sockings kit.

The third kit (white-brownish shirt and brown shorts with brown sockings) is showcased by Rosette Nanfuka.

These three sets of jerseys showcased by the Eclipse models will be used as the Catarpillars complete the 2022-2023 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season, effective with the away contest against Mukwano Gw’abangi; Express FC at Wankulukuku stadium in Kabowa on 31st March 2023.

The momentous event at Skyz Hotel is the announcement of the UGX. 850,000,000 financial package for the next five years when head of communications Mercy Munduru receives the dummy cheque from Prince Kangume, PRO at Ababet Uganda.

“We are humbled by the contribution of Ababet Uganda. We started as a small team but grown over the years. There is passion for football in West Nile region. We have remained resilient.  The love for Onduparaka has grown. We thank the fans, partners (Ababet Uganda) and the media” Munduru stated.

Every time you fall, you need to get up. Thanks to the team that has endured all the challenges. We believe in the team and in the relationship. We assure the team that we are still here. We want to double the support we had. Chance to create a relationship with the people in Arua and West Nile. Through this relationship, we are giving back to the community.

In attendance was the director Onduparaka Benjamin Nyakuni,  players led by the captain Rashid Yakini, Nathan Oloro and Dennis Ojara, assistant coach Nestroy Kizito, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael Achirdi, club media officer, the media personalities among others.

The new kits have already hit the market in Arua city and most parts of the country.

In Kampala city, the fans can procure the jerseys at Soccer Net outlet on Mabirizi complex shop G-50.
