Overview:
Only five schools will qualify from Wakiso district for the 2023 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) nationals in Fort Portal city come May.
Over twenty secondary schools within Wakiso District have been pooled in four different groups ahead of the football competitions next week (Tuesday, 28th March to Saturday, 1st April 2023).
Giants Buddo Secondary School, St Mary’s Kitende, Standard High School Zzana and Kawempe Royal Bulaga were the seeded teams in the four different groups.
Buddo S.S is in group A alongside Boston High School, Madinah Islamic, Green Light – Nansana, Kinaawa High School and City Land College – Matugga.
In group B, Kawempe Royal Bulaga will tussle out against St Julian High School Gayaza, R. Gardens Groove, Namugongo Vocational & Secondary School, Kyadondo S.S and hosts Kisubi Mapeera.


Group C has Standard High Zzana, Lake View Church of Uganda Kitinda, Kawanda S.S, Andy Mwesigwa S.S, Kasule High School and Wampewo Ntake S.S.
The district and national champions St Mary’s Kitende are in group D with London College Nansana, Aiden College – Ndejje, Abu Aisha, Light High School – Sseguku and a Late Comer 1.

The two top schools after the round robin groups will make it to the quarter-finals.
