- Mehta stadium, Lugazi 4pm
Four time league champions will hope their perfect start to the second round is maintained when they host Busoga United at Mehta Grounds, Lugazi.
The tax men have been in unforgiving mood since resumption of the league with three wins in as many games contrary to the first round when they managed only two in 14 games.
Sam Timbe is aware of the threat relegation fighting Busoga United could pose but aims for nothing but three points against a side they beat 4-0 in the reverse fixture.
“It’s another important game against Busoga United that we want to win in order to continue with our good run,” said Timbe.
“We know it won’t be an easy game and as a team we are ready to take them on. We have had enough time to prepare and the mood in camp is good. We can only hope for victory.”
They will have to do without two first team players in Alionzi Nafian and James Begisa who are on national duty.
At the moment, URA sit 8th on the table with 23 points and maximum points will lift them to 5th place while their opponents are second from bottom with 15 points.
The reverse fixture ended 4-0 in favour of the tax collectors and they have won 7 of the previous 11 meetings losing just twice and drawing as many.
