Kitara FC missed out on an opportunity to stretch their lead at the top of the table after playing out a two-all against Ndejje University on Thursday.

With second placed Mbarara City defeated by Kyetume, Kitara had a chance to build a five point gap at the top.

However, they could only settle for a point against relegation threatened Ndejje University at the Arena of Visions.

Moses Sseruyidde and Edson Agondeze scored a goal each for Kitara while Norman Ndyamuhaki and Brian Obedi got the goals for the University side.

Kitara remain top of the log on 47 to points, three ahead of Mbarara City and NEC who are level on 44 while Police follows closely on 43 points.

In the other games played, Police FC were 5-2 winners over Luweero United at Kavumba Recreation Ground while NEC FC won 3-1 against Kaaro Karungi.

Lugazi FC obliterated bottom placed Northern Gateway FC 7-1, Kyetume stunned Mbarara City, winning 2-0, Calvary secured a 2-1 win over Soroti City while Kataka earned a 4-2 win against Adjumani TC.
