Express FC picked their second successive win as they edged past BUL FC on Saturday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
The Red Eagles who won 4-1 against Onduparaka FC last week, put up another fine performance to secure a 2-1 win at BUL FC.
Despite finishing the game with a player less following the dismissal of Mustafa Anwar Ntege, the Red Eagles held on to claim maximum points.
Zirintusa fired the visitors into the lead in the 11th minute, heading home from Allan Kayiwa’s delivery.
In the 34th minute, Ntege tucked home to double Express’ advantage thanks to a well-delivered free kick by Arthur Kiggundu.
Ntege would go on to get marching orders midway the second half after a foul on Douglas Muganga.
The hosts pulled one back in stoppage time through an own goal by Abdul Kimera.
The result takes Express FC to tenth place on 25 points while BUL remain stationed in third on 30 points.
