SC Villa make a short trip to Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium to face Wakiso Giants on Saturday targeting revenge for the defeat in the first round fixture.
Ibrahim Kasule and Shariph Kimbowa scored the goals for the visitors then at Wankulukuku before Seif Batte grabbed Villa’s consolation.
The game ended in chaos with Villa fans pelting stones to the Wakiso Giants officials injuring the doctor and were slapped with a five match ban playing away from home and hosted games in Lira.
Jackson Magera’s men go to Wakiso in fine form and leading the table on 40 points and that’s in total contrast with the Purple Sharks who are winless since the start of the second round.
The hosts have been hit with injuries in the last few months but could have Moses Aliro back after he missed the last couple of outings through injury.
“The fixture is against a big team like Villa is one players want to show character and belief and am optimistic of a good show and result,” said Wakiso Giants coach John Luyinda.
In the past five league meetings, both have won twice and drawn once and the fixture on Saturday promises to have fireworks.
A win for the Jogoos will take their lead at the top to six points over second placed KCCA who play UPDF on Sunday under floodlights at Lugogo.
