Boys:
- Bukedea Comprehensive Vs Alwa S.S – Maraka 1 (8 AM)
- Amus College Vs TEPA – Boma Ground (8 AM)
Third place (12 PM)

Girls:
- Olila High School Vs Amus College – Maraka 2 (8 AM)
- Ngora High School Vs Bishop Maraka – Mary Mac (8 AM) AM)
Finals: Olila or Amus Vs Ngora High or Bishop Maraka – Maraka 1 (12:00 PM)
The 2023 Teso region Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) football championship climaxes on Easter Monday, April 10.
On the day, the semi-finals for boys’ and girls’ football will be played at various play grounds.
In boys’ football, Bukedea Comprehensive takes on Alwa S.S at the Maraka 1 playground.
At the same time, Amus College will face TEPA at Boma Ground.
Girls:
“A final before the final” shall witness Olila High School against Amus College in one of the two girls’ semi-final clashes at Maraka 2.
In the other semi-final, Ngora High School shall square up against Bishop Maraka at the Mary Mac playground.
The girl’s final will come at noon before the boys’ will tussle it out at 2 PM.

Quarter finals:
In the boys’ quarter final clashes, Amus College Bukedea smiled 2-0 past Teso College Aloet.
Both goals from Denis Ssemujju and Brian “Toto” Majuk arrived in the second half.
Bukedea Comprehensive edged Midland High 1-0, Alwa S.S was 2-0 winner over Alwa Seed School and TEPA outwitted Ngora High School 1-0.
Girls’ quarter finals:
For girls’ football, Olila High School easily beat St Elizabeth Girls 3-0, the same score-line that Amus College had for their victory over Nyero Rock.
St Thomas Girls fell 1-2 to Bishop Maraka College.
The other girls’ quarter final clash ended in post-match penalties between Malera S.S and Ngora High School.
Ngora High won 3-2 after normal time had ended goalless.
Only three schools per gender will qualify to the national championships.
The boys’ nationals will be hosted in Fort Portal city whilst girls’ football shall be in Kabale.
