Dusan Stojanovic made a double change at the break with Bogere and Misi Diego coming off for Charles Lwanga and Ronald Ssekiganda and Villa started to dominate.
Their pressure paid off in the 63rd minute when after good inter-play, Lutalo slotted from a tight angle to give the Jogoos hope of picking at least a point.
However, despite endless attacks on BUL goal, Mutakubwa and his defenders contained everything thrown at them to earn all points.
