Uganda Premier League outfit KCCA FC has confirmed the acquisition of forward Peter Lwasa on a short-term deal.
The club confirmed Lwasa has put pen to paper on a six-month deal.
“Peter Lwasa has penned a contract with KCCA FC until the end of the 2023–24 season.” The statement confirmed.
Lwasa comes on board to help in bolstering the team’s attack. He is comfortable playing on the right and left flanks.
He has previously played for URA FC, Sofapaka FC, Kariobangi FC, Gor Mahia, and Lubumbashi Sport among others.
Lwasa spoke to the club media upon completion of his move to KCCA FC and said,
“I am happy for this opportunity to join KCCA FC. To be honest when the club approached me I did not have to think twice about it. I want to contribute to the current project and that is why I am here. I want to help the club achieve its objectives and I believe together with the rest of the group we can achieve something.” He said.
He becomes the second mid-season transfer signing for KCCA FC, joining goalkeeper Mutwalibu Mugolofa.
The player will don shirt 39 at KCCA FC and is licensed to feature for the club in all competitions.
