Vipers SC and winger Abdu Lumala have agreed to termite their employment contract by mutual consent.
The Venoms confirmed the decision on Wednesday indicating the two parties have reached an amicable way to end their relationship.
“Vipers Sports Club can confirm that midfielder Abdu Lumala has left the club by mutual consent,” the club confirms.
Lumala enjoyed two seasons with the Venoms after arriving as a free agent in July 2022.
His career has been hampered with recurring injuries that limited his playing time at the club.
Lumala only accounts for three goals and five assists in twenty games played since 2022.
Before joining Vipers, Lumala had a short stint at Egypt’s Pyramids who has signed him after a good performance for Uganda Cranes at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
