Overview:
Left footed play-maker Travis Mutyaba played for the Uganda national U-15, U-17 and U-20 teams before elevating to the senior national team where he is capped 8 times.
Uganda Cranes’ attacking midfielder Travis Mutyaba penned a four-and-a-half-year deal with African giants Zamalek Sports Club in Egypt.
The 18-year-old had been one of the most sought-after players in Uganda, the CECAFA region and on the African continent for over the previous 12 or so months.
Capped 8 times for Uganda’s national senior team (Cranes), Mutyaba was introduced to super-division football by the country’s most successful entity, Sports Club Villa until the deal to Georgia came knocking.
Dinamo Tbilisi had reportedly agreed to sign the diminutive left-footed playmaker and he trained at the club in Georgia.
Barely a fortnight at the club, Zamalek presented an irresistible offer that was discussed at length between the player, his representatives, advisors and top officials at Dinamo Tbilisi.
After close to 11 days of progressive negotiations, bargains and term-setting, a common ground was reached before Mutyaba travelled from Georgia to the Egyptian capital of Cairo to sign the binding documentation, execute the medical tests and eventual unveiling.

World over, most employment contracts have specifically embedded clauses with confidentiality terms set that have to be respected to the dot by the various parties at play.
Enviable financial details
Concerning specific clauses such as salary, allowances, bonuses and other wages, medical insurance and others, Kawowo Sports Media will only spill out the key financial benefits to the player and his immediate beneficiaries at hand.

Ceteris Paribus; over the four and a half years, the deal is estimated to cost $750,000 (at least Ugx 2.8 billion).
Of this money, $530,000 (at least Ugx 2 billion) will go to the player and his management team.
From this transfer, the parent club will earn $220,000 (at least Ugx 841,318,280). It remains to be seen whether it is Sports Club Villa or Dinamo Tbilisi as the beneficiary.
For six months, Mutyaba will smile to the bank with $50,000 (at least Ugx 191,208,700), excluding the extra bonuses and additional allowances.
In the subsequent season (2024-2025), Mutyaba will earn $120,000 (at least Ugx 458,900,880) without the additional bonuses and allowances.
The money will double for the remaining three seasons on the four-and-a-half-year contract signed with options for renewal.

One of the muted clauses is the “buy-out” term that Zamalek decided to keep closer to their chest unless a serious buyer comes by.
Zamalek is christened as the “White Knights” and has signed six other players besides Mutyaba.
These ate Seif Farouk Jaafar, Abdallah El Said, Mohamed Atef, Nasser Maher as well as the Yasser entity of Hamed and Maher.
For starters, Mutyaba played for the Uganda national U-15, U-17 and U-20 teams before elevating to the senior national team.
The playmaker also played at Sparta-09 Football Academy, Vipers Junior Team, Synergy Futsal Club, Bulemeezi Ssaza and St Andrew’s Kaggwa (Gombe High) in the USSSA and FEASSSA Games.
He possesses good ball command from close ball control, dribbling, and passing to shooting.
Struggle for Mutyaba’s management:
Before he clocked 18 years, Sepuya Inc. Agency handled his management affairs before Festoweb Sports Management came forth. Later, Prosper Sports Agency (presently) boldly took over with assistance from international partners.

Congratulations to him upon this move.
May the Almighty continue widen his path of success.
