URA FC began the second round of the League on an impressive note, edging Gaddafi FC 1-0 in Jinja last week.
The Tax Collectors have had a start-stop run so far in the League this season, failing to win two games on the bounce.
Against struggling UPDF FC who visit Mehta Stadium today, URA FC will be hoping that this is the perfect time to try and create a string of victories.
Coach Obua is confident that his charges are in the right mind and shape to claim all three points.
“We began the second on an impressive note, winning away against Gaddafi and we should use that victory as a spring board for the next games,” he started.
“Facing a team like UPDF who are fighting relegation is always trick but we want to keep winning to gain a good momentum and that is why this game is important for us.” Obua added.
URA FC come into today’s game in 8th place on 24 points but victory will take them two place high on the table.
On the other hand, UPDF FC remain second from bottom on nine points and have not won in the last nine league games.
The reverse fixture in Bombo between the two teams ended in a goalless draw.
