Brian Ssenyondo expects a tough challenge against record champions SC Villa when the two sides clash at the Masindi Municipal stadium on Friday.

The Royals defeated the Jogoos 2-1 in the reverse fixture with a late own goal from Elvis Ngondwe deciding the tie at Wankulukuku.

Since then, Villa has improved a lot and come into the game just three points behind Kitara who sit second on the table with 32 points with the record winners in 4th place.

“A lot has changed since the last game and them being just three points behind is testimony to what they have done,” said Ssenyondo.

“They come into the game with belief and want close the gap on us but we are ready and will do all possible to win the game,” he added.

Brian Aheebwa returns for the hosts after missing the 3-0 win at Bombo through suspension and so are Ronald Ssekiganda and Kenneth Ssemakula for Villa who were absent in the 2-1 win over Maroons last week.

Umar Lutalo could also be available for the Jogoos after missing many games through injury since the first round.
