According to the national ranking of schools, St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde was 67th out of the 3350 schools registered for O-Level in the year 2023.

Judging by the recent performance from the 2023 Ordinary Level of Education results, this Mukono based school excelled in the examinations.

Peter Andrew Ssenyondo scored 10 in 10 to emerge as the most outstanding student overall.
Two basketball players Fahad Kalumba scored 11 as well as Malcom Omondi with aggregate 23.
122 students passed with flying colours in division one, 22 in division two and only 3 in division three.

Joseph Kamya, the head teacher of the school attributes the excellence in education and sports to a wide range of factors at play ranging from good planning, dedicated students, will-power of the teachers and other staff to the conducive school environment favourable to all students.
“We are excited about the performance of St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde both in sports and education. This has come because of good planning, the support from school management, teachers and other staff, parents; dedication of students, conducive environment at the school and above all the mercy of God” Kamya attests.

Kamya vows to maintain the status-quo through the A-Level for many more years to come.
In Mukono district, St Cyprian High School – Kyabakadde was behind Seeta High Schools, Mt St Mary’s Namagunga, St Joseph’s Secondary School – Naggala, Umar B.A Islamic High School and Seroma Christian High School.
The school is not only famed for education excellence but also good performance in sports as Basketball, Volleyball, football and netball as well as indoor sports like chess.
In the year 2022, St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde was among the schools that represented Uganda at the East Africa Secondary School Games in Arusha city, Tanzania for the sport of Basketball (5 X 5 and 3 X 3).
