Sunday Fixtures
- Wanderers vs Patidar – Entebbe – Division 1
- Tornado B vs Nyakasura – Lugogo – Division 1
- Premier vs Rounders – Budo – Divison 2
Wanderers will be seeking their first points of the season when they take on Patidar at the lakeside oval in Entebbe.
Patidar lost their first game of the season to Kutchi Tigers while Wanderers lost to Nyakasura.
Even with no threat of relegation, both sides will be playing for some pride. Wanderers lost to Patidar last season and the loss could have had dire consequences for Wanderers while for Patidar, the win energized them to avoid the drop from the top flight.
At Lugogo Oval, Nyakasura will be looking for their second win of the season while Tornado Bee will be seeking their first.
Tornado Bee went down to Ceylon Lions on their return to the top flight and will be seeking a quick return to winning ways.
Nyakasura got the better of Wanderers in their first game of the season and a win against Tornado Bee will push them into top place ahead of Ceylon Lions due to a better Net Run Rate.
Nyakasura will be missing their captain Pascal Murungi who got a semi-professional stint in Zimbabwe but they have enough youngsters ready to step up.
In the championship, Rounders make the trip from Jinja to take on Premier in Budo. Neither side has had a crack this season but they will be seeking to pick up all match points available as they try to make sure that table leaders Soroti City don’t get out of sight.
The Division 2 teams play two T20 games a day that count for their home and away ties.
