Vipers return to league action for the first time in over three weeks when they host Soltilo Bright Stars at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende on Thursday.
The champions last fixture in the league was on February 8 against Gaddafi which ended goalless at Kitende, their only game in the second round.
Their would be second game against SC Villa was postponed with the Jogoos having players on the national U-20 team that played in the ‘DIRE CUP’ in Ethiopia.
Currently 3rd on the table with 31 points, Vipers are eight and seven points behind first and second placed Kitara and BUL who have played three and two games more.
Livingstone Mbabazi will have defender Hilary Mukundane and Ghanaian forward Asiwome Fumador back from injury – the latter scored a hat trick in the last appearance for the club.
Vipers will be favourites against Nelson Ssenkatuka led side who sit 11th on the log with 22 points and are winless in their last two games losing to BUL and drawing with Express FC.
