The other group A contest witnessed Congo overcome The Gambia 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana ends the campaign with 7 points, Congo with 5, Benin on 2 and The Gambia with a single point.
In group A, Uganda finished unbeaten with three wins off three games after a 1-0 win over South Sudan at the University of Ghana stadium.
Roving right back Apollo Kagogwe scored the only goal of the match well contested in the 73rd minute.
At the Accra Sports Stadium, Senegal pipped Nigeria 3-2 to advance to the semi-finals as the second best team in group B.
Uganda will face Congo at the semi-finals as hosts Ghana will entertain long time rivals Senegal.
I have not watched Congo but will do so through the video analysis. I know they are a very physical side and we expect to approach the game well aware.
