Kitara’s duo of coach Brian Ssenyondo and striker Denis Omedi has been voted the Pilsner Coach and Player of the Month of February respectively.
Omedi beat SC Villa’s Patrick Jonah Kakande and Express’ Isaac Wagoina to the player gong despite the latter two also doing well at their respective clubs.
The forward, currently joint top scorer with 11 goals scored five goals and assisted once in the four matches played in February
Ssenyondo guided Kitara to three wins and a draw in four matches his team played in February thus edging URA’s David Obua and NEC’s Hussein Mbalangu.
The pair were awarded with Ugx. 1 million courtesy of Pilsner and a plaque at the ceremony held at Kati Kati Restaurant, Lugogo on Friday.
