Uganda Taekwondo national team has arrived in Ghana’s capital city of Accra for the 13th African Games.
The team has Oswaldo Ocira, Cranima Wakurwoth, Emmanuel Hahumi and Christopher Mugweri.
Ocira will compete in the 58 kg category, Wakurwoth (63 kg), Hahumi (68 kg) and Mugweri (73 kg).
There are two officials on the team as; Judith Aujo and Karim M.

The team has high hopes of earning silverware at these championships.
“The team has prepared well and ready to fly high the country’s flag at the 13th African Games. We are eyeing the medals at the championships” remarked Marvin Baryaruha, the president of the Uganda Taekwondo Federation.
Uganda has had representation in Athletics, Table Tennis, Judo, Weight-lifting, Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Swimming, Football, Cricket, Boxing, Handball (women) and Rugby.
So far, there are seven medals to boost of for team Uganda. These medals have come from swimming (1), badminton (3) and weightlifting (3).
