Days after Marvin Oshaba missed the Kampala Derby to play the Ntare League (Old Students finale) in Kigali, Rwanda, Kawowo Sports understands that the Express player Oshaba is again out of the country for trials in Spain.

While Oshaba’s earlier movement caused a number of questions on why a player would sideline his club in such a manner for an amateur game.

His travel to Spain further cements that soon or later, the club and the players will part ways. With the Red Eagles in a poor financial situation, it will be their prayer that they can collect something from the deal.

A source close to the player further revealed the Express knows about the travel since Oshaba told before travelling.

“Oshaba is a very disciplined player and the club knows about his travelling to Spain,” the source stated.

“He has been pushing the deal for sometime until he was called to do trials. So we believe the deal is growing however Oshaba is still contracted with the club.”

“As Ugandans we are happy for him and only pray that he can go out and fly the country’s club so high. He is a very talented player who can turn out to be a big star.”

In his most recent game, Oshaba was replaced by Eddy Ssebandeke in the 35th minute after a cold performance before Express lost 3-2 to Wakiso Giants in the Uganda Premier League.

He leaves the Red Eagles in the ninth position with 29 points gathered from 21 games in the ongoing UPL campaign.
