Uganda Rugby Union (URU) sponsor Nile Special has rewarded the Uganda Rugby Cranes 7s and Lady Rugby Cranes 7s national teams with UGX 50 million (fifty million Uganda shillings) each for winning gold at the 13th African Games in Accra, Ghana.

The winning bonuses were handed over by Nile Special brands manager, Rogers Ssali during the victory party organised by URU at the Velocity Bar in Kyanja on Thursday night.

Both teams, the Lady Rugby Cranes 7s and Rugby Cranes 7s, went unbeaten during the entire campaign in Rugby’s first appearance at the African Games.

Nile Special also launched a new promotion under the Unmatched In Gold campaign in which revellers will stand a chance to win gold medals for sharing Nile Special with their friends and colleagues at select hangouts in Kampala City.
